About Us
Who are we?
The Glasgow University Tech Society (GUTS) is the official student society of the School of Computing Science, and aims to provide students with opportunities to develop their technical ability and connect with our industry partners.

What events do we host?
We host two annual hackathons are “Do You Have the GUTS?” in the first semester and Code
Olympics in the second semester. Both of these events create a unique opportunity for
students and industry partners to network in a fun, relaxed environment.
In addition to
these we organise a variety of social events throughout the year, such as student mixers, pub
quizzes, an end of year black tie gala ball, and more. We also host talks and workshops with our
partners throughout the year.

FOUNDING MEMBERS
Sponsor Us
Partnering with us gives you wonderful opportunities to network with a large number of
students in an intimate, relaxed environment. For our main events, you will have
hands-on interactions with students and the chance to mentor students
through challenging but rewarding tasks.
You will be able to present challenges at our hackathons, which will give you a natural way
to talk and work with the students. You are also encouraged to give a short presentation
about your company at the opening ceremony to give students an idea of what you’re
about.
Your company will be given a stall to advertise, and the students a place to find you.
