About Us

Who are we?

The Glasgow University Tech Society (GUTS) is the official student society of the School of Computing Science, and aims to provide students with opportunities to develop their technical ability and connect with our industry partners.

Our Constitution

What events do we host?

We host two annual hackathons are “Do You Have the GUTS?” in the first semester and Code Olympics in the second semester. Both of these events create a unique opportunity for students and industry partners to network in a fun, relaxed environment.
In addition to these we organise a variety of social events throughout the year, such as student mixers, pub quizzes, an end of year black tie gala ball, and more. We also host talks and workshops with our partners throughout the year.
